Church, Chichen Itza, Mexico

Chichen Itza showcases a number of striking structures built by the Mayans. And while some impress in size, others like the “Church” display incredible decorations.

Most striking are the masks of Chaac, the God of Rain, that stand out on the corners of the building. It is unbelievable how skilled the Mayans must have been to create these masks out of stone.
