Craters of the Moon

When I visited the Craters of the Moon National Monument for the first time, I was amazed at how many plants and animals had adapted to the environment. I had only expected to see lava rocks and craters, but was surprised to find a fairly ample flora. From a photographic point of view, I was especially captivated by these old trees.
